Pickup is available from Gongju Bus Terminal, Gongju Station, and other locations, and the tour begins at Gongsanseong Fortress. The fortress has gentle slopes, so a leisurely walk around the entire site takes about an hour and a half. Enjoy the fresh air and sweeping views of downtown Gongju. After exploring Gongsanseong Fortress, visit a restaurant suited to your tastes. Pitang Kimtang is famous, but the restaurant database also includes an 80-year-old samgyetang restaurant, a long-established grilled fish restaurant, casual snack eateries, and Western-style restaurants in traditional hanok houses. After the meal, visit an atmospheric cafe in Gongju for chestnut desserts. A stroll along Jemincheon Stream helps with digestion and rounds out the day! Depending on the itinerary, the tour also visits Hanok Village and the Tomb of King Muryeong.
